Specific Skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in film production, video editing, graphic design, or a related field
- Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro) and graphic design software (such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Strong communication skills and ability to take direction
- Familiarity with basic color grading, sound mixing, and motion graphics
- Strong creative and conceptual skills in both video editing and graphic design
- Experience with typography, color theory, and layout design
- A portfolio of work demonstrating previous experience and skills is typically required for this role.
Responsible For
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit video footage and audio clips into a cohesive and compelling final product
- Use industry-standard video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro) to edit and enhance footage
- Collaborate with producers, directors, and other members of the creative team to understand the overall vision of a project
- Select and arrange video clips, music, sound effects, and other elements to create a polished final product
- Add special effects, animations, and graphics as needed to enhance the final product
- Create visually stunning and effective graphics for use in video content, including lower thirds, transitions, and other elements
- Ensure that the final product meets technical requirements for broadcasting, distribution, or online posting
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in video editing and graphic design and apply them to projects as appropriate
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
